The enclosed paper deals with the resources used in finding my great grandfather Johann Christian Mann’s parents. Some readers may find it technical, but it follows step by step the processes used in my successful quest. The paper was given to the Germanic and Continental Europe Special Interest Group of the South Australia Genealogy & Heraldry Society Inc. by Zoom on 10 May 2023 and has now been published in The South Australian Genealogist, Vol 51 No 1 February 2024, pages 26-31.
